A city resort hotel on the road to Boudhanath Stupa - the most holy of Tibetan Buddhist shrines outside Tibet. The hotel is 4 Km from Tribhuvan International Airport and close to shopping areas. The Boudhanath Stupa is within ten minutes walking distance from the hotel. 290 rooms feature minibar, voicemail and in-room safe.

Four Points by Sheraton Lhasa

Situated in eastern Lhasa city, Four Points by Sheraton Lhasa is on the Lhasa River and is a 10-minute walk from the Jokhang Temple and Barkhorn Street. Day 1 - Welcome to Lhasa, Tibet!
Check in to the Four Points Sheraton, a superior first class hotel, ideally located close to Jokhang Monastery and the lively Barkhor Market.

Day 2 - Lhasa… in-depth & privately guided
Join your personal guide to visit the magnificent Potala Palace#WHS#, former residence of the Dali Lama. Then continue on Jokhang Temple and Sera Monastery. Meals B,L,D

Day 3 - Over the Kanbala Pass to Shigatse
Traveling in a private Jeep with a driver and your experienced mountain guide, you ascend to 15,680 feet through the Kanbala Pass with great views over Yamdrok Yumtso Lake. Visit Palkhor Monastery and continue to the Shigatse Hotel, an inviting hotel that blends modern comfort and Tibetan styling. Meals B,L,D

Day 4 - Across the “Roof of the World”
Visit Tashihunpo Monastery, largest in town, and admire the Buddhist frescoes of Sakya Monastery. From Gyatsola Pass (17,000 feet), Mt. Everest can be seen on a clear day. Drive to New Tingri and settle in to the Tingri Qomolangma Hotel, the finest in town. Meals B,L,D

Day 5 - Mt. Everest Base Camp
Arise early to visit Rongbuk Monastery, the highest in the world. Continue by horse-drawn cart to the Mt. Everest Base Camp, where you’ll have time to explore and revel in the experience before returning to New Tingri. Meals B,L,D

Day 6 - Overland to the border to Zhangmu
An unforgettable overland journey through remote high-mountain landscapes brings you to the Zhangmu Hotel. Meals B,L,D

Day 7 - Into Nepal & on to Kathmandu
Drive to Kodari on the Nepal/Tibet border and continue by Land Rover to Kathmandu. Enjoy an enchanting 3-night stay at the Hyatt Regency, a 5-star resort set on 37 landscaped acres with stunning views of the Himalayas. Meals B

Day 8 - In & around Kathmandu
Your private tour brings you to Durbar Square and Hamuman Dhoka, the ancient royal quarter of the city. See the Mahadev and Parvati Temples and explore colorful local markets. Then journey into the tranquil Nepalese countryside to Patan, a city that captivates with its art and architecture. Delight in colorful bazaars and the carved details of traditional Nepalese homes. Day 9 - Discover Bhadgaon
Enjoy an excursion to ancient Bhadgaon, one of the three kingdoms of medieval Nepal. Visit Bodhnath, the largest Buddhist stupa in Nepal, and admire the richly carved doors and gilded roof of Pashupatinath Hindu Temple, dedicated to the Lord Shiva. Meals B
