Day 2: DELHI AT LEISURE
Welcome to India! On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you are greeted with a traditional floral garland and transferred to your elegant hotel. Tonight, join your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception with drinks and light meal.(Welcome Reception)

Day 3: DELHI DISCOVERY
The morning is devoted to Old Delhi as you board your rickshaw for a ride through the lanes of Chandni Chowk bazaar. View the Red Fort, visit Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Gandhi Smriti, the house where Mahatma Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life. After an included Mediterranean style lunch in the shadow of the Qutub Minar, drive along the broad Rajpath past the India Gate and Parliament House to visit the Tomb of Humayun. Finish with an insight into the local religion at a colourful temple.(Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Lunch)

Day 4: DELHI - AGRA
After breakfast, drive to Agra where the afternoon is free to relax at your hotel, located only 600 meters from the Taj Mahal. Inspired by Moorish and Mughal architecture, your resort is a confection of terraced lawns, pools, fountains and pavilions with rich interiors that take you back to the golden age of Emperors and Princes. Day 5: CAPITAL OF THE MUGHAL EMPERORS
Open the curtains this morning to admire the lustrous Taj Mahal, bathed by the first rays of dawn. Much has been said about this monument to love, but words rarely do it justice. Make up your own mind as you visit this exquisite vision in marble, built by a great emperor in memory of his beloved wife. Continue to the palatial Royal Pavilions at the red sandstone Agra Fort for a glimpse of the royal Mughal lifestyle. Later, attend a spectacular stage musical production, supported by the latest audio-visual effects, which follows the ‘Saga of Love’ that inspired the Taj Mahal. Back at the hotel perhaps enjoy a drink overlooking the Taj’s illuminated dome.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 6: AGRA - RANTHAMBHORE
Then head west to the ancient Mughul capital of Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted city full of architectural wonder. Imagine court life in the 16th century as you enter the Agra Gate into the huge rectangular courtyard where ambassadors were received. Lunch is served at the majestic Laxmi Vilas Palace in Bharatpur. This palace and heritage hotel has been home to the Baroda royal family for over 120 years. Now to the station for the rail journey to Ranthambhore. On arrival transfer to India’s leading luxury jungle resort, nestling in the natural beauty of the wilds, on the edge of the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve.(Buffet Breakfast / Highlight Lunch / Dinner)

Day 7: RANTHAMBHORE - A PRINCELY PARK
Early morning journey into former private hunting ground of the Maharajahs of Jaipur, in search of the elusive tiger. More commonly seen in the dry, deciduous forest are the wild boar, monkeys, spotted deer and antelope, but if you are ever going to witness tigers in their natural habitat, this is the place. Return to your resort for breakfast, lunch and the day at leisure. At dusk, enjoy another foray in to the national park with an expert naturalist. Besides the wildlife, there are also lake palaces, ‘chhatris’, old fortifications and a majestic 1,000-year-old fort strewn throughout the park.(Buffet Breakfast / Lunch)

Day 8: RANTHAMBHORE - JAIPUR
Early this morning embark on yet another exciting game adventure into the territory of the majestic tiger - every wildlife enthusiast and photographer’s dream. This afternoon drive through the rural countryside where flat green fields are punctuated with the bright blossom of women at work. Your destination is the stunning Rajasthan capital of Jaipur. Settle in to your resort hotel, an oasis of elegance and luxury located in 32 acres of beautiful gardens, pools and fountains, in the peaceful Rajasthani countryside.(Buffet Breakfast)

Day 9: THE PINK CITY
Ascend by jeep to the Amber Fort, its royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirrors, glass and exquisite paintings. Now a Jaipur city tour, seeing the intricate ‘Hawa Mahal’ (The Palace of Winds) and a visit to the City Palace Museum and Royal Observatory. This evening you are invited on an exclusive private tour through parts of the Royal Palace normally closed for public viewing. When possible, a member of the royal family will welcome you to their home. This is followed by an exclusive Celebration Dinner with drinks at The Royal Palace. Day 10: JAIPUR - DELHI
Get away from the hustle and bustle as you visit a private estate in the green foothills behind Amber Fort for an elephant safari and lunch. Help feed the elephants and enjoy a welcome drink before climbing aboard your elephant’s cushioned seat. You are led through private jungle by a local tribal guide, past village hamlets, agricultural fields and ancient monuments. On arival at an exclusive forest camp, enjoy a variety of freshly prepared dishes for lunch. Revert to a more contemporary form of transport now as you reboard your coach for the return drive to Delhi.
